This is our inspiration from Country Living magazine....they recommend using this cabinet in a kitchen needing more storage (who's kitchen doesn't needmore storage?)...paint the cabinet to match the built in cabinets, and they suggest painting the interior a different color for a surprise when the doors are open. Don't overlook the interior space of the doors...as they have it, great organizational area for papers and keys.
This cabinet was consigned today. To me, it has the same country, rustic feel as the inspiration piece. A quick coat of paint to match the room you need more storage, a coat of fun pain on the interior of the cabinet, and you have a great storage piece that could work in any room of the house!
This would make a great weekend project to really add value and organization to any room.
(Maybe this kids will even put their toys away??...We can dream, can't we?)
