*  Did you know taking a shorter shower can save up to 25 gallons of water?  Just 5 minutes less...uses 25 gallons fewer for every shower.  Just 2 minutes shorter saves 10 gallons.  Put a timer on the shower...especially if you have a teenager!

*  Using fewer plastic bags can really add up:  Just using 2 fewer plastic bags per WEEK, we'd save enough bags in ONE YEAR to wrap around the Earth more than 126 times when tied handle to handle....Take in those re-useable bags...it can make a difference!

*  Unplug unused electronics devices.  Up to 25% of the electricity used in your home is from electronic devices being plugged in, but turned off.

5 minute fix: Untangle a necklace

It is easy for your jewelry to turn into a knotty mess but you can restore your favorite pieces to their luster in just a few simple steps. Use what you have around the house to get the kinks out of your favorite jewelry.

1. Place the chain on a hard, flat surface and apply a few drops of baby oil with a cotton swab to make it slippery, then loosen the links with your fingers.
2. If the knot still won’t budge, use straight pins to reach places your fingers can’t.
3. To avoid mishaps, store each piece separately in stackable ice-cube trays or on a jewelry tree.

What's hiding in your closet?

Did you answer CASH??  You should have!

Turn in the items your in-style items that just aren't "You" to make room for the items you love.

Keep these rules in mind to earn the most for your items....
1)  Bring in your items in bulk--bringing in one or two items will not get the cash you are looking for.  Clean out your entire closet...bring in your ladies items 30 per day or make an appointment to bring in all the kid's items they have outgown.  Then watch your account credit add up.
2)  Stay within trends--Keep in mind the items you are looking to purchase.  Items that sell best are still in style, freshly laundered and look great.  Would you buy the item you are bringing in?  Then, chances are someone else will also.
3)  Build a relationship--Get to know us, and what sells best at our store.  Bringing in items that sell well for us will help your items sell quickly and for the most return on your investment.

Now, go...clean out your closets!

Addicted to meat?!

Yes, I agree a juicy burger on a warm summer afternoon can really taste great.....but....I have gone vegetarian (trying to get to full vegan) for 6 months now.  I can't tell you how great I feel!  Your body reacts with meat and diary products with inflammation (among other things) trying to digest these items.  Not only will your body feel better with more plant based foods, but it can make a huge impact on our carbon footprint:
